Hersam Acorn Newspapers, a Connecticut-based company which prides itself on its intensive local coverage, is broadening its horizons by launching an international travel blog. Former staffer Maggie Caldwell, who left the company to travel around the world, will be documenting her trip via the company’s Web site over the coming months. She is also looking to tell your travel stories. Trains, huh? Let me know if the Orient Express is still running from Greece to Istanbul, right across the northern edge of the Aegean. Great route and beautiful old train. May be all changed now.
